    I am just wondering how many people have upgraded to MySQL 4.1 by selecting MySQL 4.1 in Tweak Settings and updating. Any problems? Is it worth the upgrade yet or should I wait? I am interested in trying out the new features and heard it is greatly improved in performance. Does the WHM upgrade maintain the current databases properly?

    Well I upgraded one of my boxes running about 400 accounts to MySQL 4.1 with absolutely no problems yet. Been running for about 3 hours now and everyone has already noted an improvement in performance and were anxious for the extras. I can't wait for phpBB to be compatable with PHP5, then I'll upgrade that, too.

    One thing I am wondering is why is MySQL 4.1 still installing 4.1.8 when 4.1.9 is latest? Will cpanel be updating that anytime soon?

    Is there a way to force cpanel to use 4.1.9 instead of 4.1.8?

    In order to install the new mySQLi module, I need 4.1.9 because
    of the (renamed: hash_reset -> my_hash_reset) bug:
