I'm running MySQL 4.0.20, but I need 4.1.3 which has unicode (utf-8) support. Is there anyone here that did such an upgrade?

    I have Enterprise Linux 3,
    Kernel version 2.4.20-021stab022.1.777-smp
    Apache version 1.3.31 (Unix)
    PERL version 5.8.4
    PHP version 4.3.8
    MySQL version 4.0.20-standard
    cPanel Build 9.4.1-RELEASE 64

Can I just upgrade 4.0.20 by 4.1.3 whith all these RPMs?

    MySQL-server
    MySQL-embedded
    MySQL-client
    MySQL-devel
    MySQL-bench
    MySQL-shared
    MySQL-shared-compat

And now, how would I tell cPanel to not override my new installation?
