    Hi,

I am having exactly the same problem, after running MySQL upgrade via WHM from 5.5 to 5.6 I started getting rpm compatibility warning from the cpanel server. I too (foolishly) ran
    Code:
    /usr/local/cpanel/scripts/check_cpanel_rpms --fix
to try and resolve the problem, but this just reinstalled the MySQL 5.5 rpms, and now the database is broken with various "Incorrect information" in some .frm files.

I tried to run the MySQL upgrade to 5.6 again but now throws up:

    Code:
Starting process with log file at /var/cpanel/logs/mysql_upgrade.20150720-143132/upgrade_mysql_with_status.log
    Obtained version information from system.
DBD::mysql::db do failed: Incorrect information in file: './mysql/tables_priv.frm'
Do I need to open ticket for this to be fixed? Was there a solution other than having to try and fix a corrupted INNODB database?

And does this mean that the upgrade script in WHM is buggy and should not really be used on production servers?

    Hello :)

Do you notice any specific error messages in your MySQL error log (/var/lib/mysql/$hostname.err) when restarting MySQL?

    Thank you.
