    What is the easiest way to upgrade to MySQL 5?

    Login to WHM >> Server Configuration >> Tweak Settings >> Mysql section >> Select the Mysql version and also select the check box "Keep old style passwords" >> Click Save.

    But do keep in mind, be sure you take the backup of your databases before you downgrade Mysql at the later stage.
