Hello, I have a dedicated server with WHM/cPanel and I've moved the MySQL folder due to space issues following this tutorial: Changing the MySQL data directory within a Unix like environment | KnowledgeLayer

But when WHM/cPanel upgraded it just made a new directory of MySQL and all my sites becomes offline, I've got some hours to make it work and now cPanel/WHM wont upgrade beacause of space issuses, today I saw the message: "The last attempt to update cPanel & WHM was blocked. Details"

How can I prevent cPanel/WHM to make it happen keeping the my.cnf file and the MySQL folder untouched after the upgrade?

    Thanks

Have you tried repeating the steps listed in the URL that you referenced to ensure MySQL is running normally again? Feel free to open a support ticket using the link in my signature so we can take a closer look. You can post the ticket number here so we can update this thread with the outcome.

    Thank you.

Hello Michael and thanks for your support.
After the upgrade MySQL are running but with new databases at the default folder, that's the problem. I need to keep the moved folder after the upgrade or lots of sites will become offline until I repeat the steps.
