    MySQL keeps crashing randomly.

Restarting via ssh does nothing, and looking in the mysql error log i get this:

    031230 16:31:28 mysqld started
031230 16:31:28 Can't start server: Bind on TCP/IP port: Address already in use
031230 16:31:28 Do you already have another mysqld server running on port: 3306 ?
    031230 16:31:28 Aborting

    031230 16:31:28 /usr/sbin/mysqld: Shutdown Complete

    031230 16:31:28 mysqld ended

Restarting via WHM gives this error:

mysql has failed, please contact the sysadmin (result was "/usr/bin/mysqlshow: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (2)"). Dec 29 18:14:44 phoenix mysql: No mysqld pid file found. Looked for /var/lib/mysql/phoenix.staticdns.com.pid. Dec 29 18:14:44 phoenix rc: Stopping mysql: succeeded

The only way i've found to fix it is to restart the server. Surely there is a better way than this - as it is becoming a daily occurence now! :(

    Any ideas?

    Thanks
