    Dear frattay22,

It is not possible to add a user with hyphen in their username using Cpanel. You can done this using mysql prompt.Try to execute this command from the mysql prompt

    DELETE FROM mysql.user WHERE user=\'username\' and host=\'hostname\';

    Regards,

my guess is that he typed the wrong user ignoring the prefix in front...

by default mysql users are added this way :

    accountname_ as prefix

    accountname_username

but u cannot add users with hyphened. How did you get hyphened users in the first place, if your are not talking about accountname_username ?

    just to let you know.

    if you add a_a

it will be turned into this

    accountname_aa

    instead of

    accountname_a_a

so you should not have hyphened users!

say if your account name you login to cpanel is cpaneluser1, you will see a list of users

    cpaneluser1_user1
    cpaneluser1_user2
    cpaneluser1_user3

    and so forth

where user1, user2, and user3 etc are your users in mysql, started with a prefix cpaneluser1_

this is what I am trying to say.

so if u are facing, this, I think you should try delete

    cpaneluser1_user1 instead of user1 cos user1 don't exists!

how about u do a screenshot and show us what u see?

A picture speaks a thousand words.
