    I keep creating new DB and users and assign them. But none of them actually work. I tried to install a phpBB board and a vB board, both give me a similar error;couldn't connect to the DB.

    I did check my config files,double,triple times, I'm 100% that my config info are correct.

    I believe that something is wrong with my Cpanel/MySqL.

    Please help.

    is this problem only for your domain on the server? ... please try to connecto to mysql at localhost on the server as user root if you have access to the server.

    Your host can assist you with this. If you think there's a problem with your cPanel you should contact them.

    If you've created a DB and added a user properly, use this example for your VBulletin config.php

    $config['Database']['dbname'] = 'dbname_dbname';
    $config['MasterServer']['username'] = 'dbusername_dbusername';
    $config['MasterServer']['password'] = 'passwordhere';
