Hi, I'm a newbie in the forum, I seen some thread with the answer at this question, but I don't know how to execute the downgrade, I can do it from VHM? In the section of MySQL and MariaDB update? Only via SSH?

I have CentOS 7, actually in my cPanel I use MySQL 5.7.29 but I would like to use 5.6. You can help me please?

Thanks.

Best Regards.

We do not support downgrading versions of MySQL or MariaDB, there's no supported path for this. You may be able to find on the forums here some instructions on how to achieve this though we cannot be accountable for issues you may experience as a result.

Why are you trying to downgrade? There is no automated option within WHM or cPanel to achieve this.
