MySQL error after apache update

    Warning: mysql_connect(): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (2) in /home/username/public_html/username/example/db/mysql4.php on line 48

    Is one error from a website forum.

    So far the entire server has no MySQL on it since th update.

    I can confirm ive had at least 1 box do this also. Just working my way around for the fix.

    reboot helped me once with similar issue :)
