    The generated has an error in a way that checks for mysql version when deciding which mysql to use (builin or installed).
    if [ "`grep "Red Hat Linux release 9" /etc/redhat-release`" != "" ]; then
    export WITHMYSQL="--with-mysql"

    Should be
    if [ "`grep \"Red Hat Linux release 9\" /etc/redhat-release`" != "" ]; then
    export WITHMYSQL="--with-mysql"

    Othewise it will ALWAYS export WITHMYSQL="--with-mysql" and use builtin mysql Support Ticket Number:
    Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand...
