    Hi,

When trying to acces MySQL \"running processes\" i am getting this error....

/usr/bin/mysqladmin: connect to server at \'localhost\' failed
error: \'Access denied for user: \'root@localhost\' (Using password: NO)\'

Any help? I have no ideas where MySQL is concerned!!

Can you type \"mysql\" and reach a shell that way?
For the root mysql connection.... you have to have the profile preconfigured... usually in /root/.my.cnf , on the server in question.

Does that file exist? You can reset the mysql root with the WHManager of course.... though if you get stuck you might need to start mysql without the grant tables.... essentially break into it and set the password. Be careful.

    good luck.

    try this

    login via ssh

    run the commands as follows:

    :> killall mysqld
    :> safe_mysqld --skip-grant-tables &
    :> /usr/local/cpanel/startup

Then login into WHM reset the MySQL root
    password.

    go back to ssh...

    :> killall mysqld
    :> /etc/rc.d/init.d/mysql start
