Hi All,

One of the sites we host is getting the following message every few hours on there site:

Warning: Host '&server was here&' is blocked because of many connection errors. Unblock with 'mysqladmin flush-hosts' in /home/&username&/public_html/adodb/adodb-mysql.inc.php on line 113

Warning: MySQL Connection Failed: Host '&server was here&' is blocked because of many connection errors. Unblock with 'mysqladmin flush-hosts' in /home/&username&/public_html/adodb/adodb-mysql.inc.php on line 113

I know that running mysqladmin flush-hosts fixes this but how can we prevent it in the first place?

Kind Regards,

Neil

Same errror

I'm also getting the same error... :-(

Warning: mysql_pconnect(): Host 'HOSTNAME' is blocked because of many connection errors. Unblock with 'mysqladmin flush-hosts' in /home/xyz/public_html/common/db.php on line 43

I tried increasing the max connection errors in /etc/my.cnf, and restarted mysql... It didn't work

It automatically corrects itself after a few hours. But the problem is the error is coming back time and again. Any help on this matter is highly appreciated...

Thanks in Advance. :)
