I have an event, here is the output from the `information_schema` table
As you can see it has not been running (since 2019-11-05 03:55:19) ... it's meant to truncate a particular table which becomes quite full of entries from every bot that hits the login page.

INSERT INTO `EVENTS` (`EVENT_CATALOG`, `EVENT_SCHEMA`, `EVENT_NAME`, `DEFINER`, `TIME_ZONE`, `EVENT_BODY`, `EVENT_DEFINITION`, `EVENT_TYPE`, `EXECUTE_AT`, `INTERVAL_VALUE`, `INTERVAL_FIELD`, `SQL_MODE`, `STARTS`, `ENDS`, `STATUS`, `ON_COMPLETION`, `CREATED`, `LAST_ALTERED`, `LAST_EXECUTED`, `EVENT_COMMENT`, `ORIGINATOR`, `CHARACTER_SET_CLIENT`, `COLLATION_CONNECTION`, `DATABASE_COLLATION`)
VALUES
('def', 'wanless_store', 'truncate_wanless_store_sessions', '[email protected]', 'SYSTEM', 'SQL', 'truncate wanless_store.sessions', 'RECURRING', NULL, '1', 'DAY', 'NO_AUTO_CREATE_USER,NO_ENGINE_SUBSTITUTION', '2022-04-13 03:53:00', '2030-01-01 00:00:01', 'SLAVESIDE_DISABLED', 'NOT PRESERVE', '2018-10-07 23:55:19', '2022-04-13 15:54:31', '2019-11-05 03:55:19', '', 1, 'utf8', 'utf8_general_ci', 'utf8_unicode_ci');

I use the MariaDB dropin replacement for Mysql. Server version: 10.3.34-MariaDB MariaDB Server

I've just tried altering the event, and there are no complaints from the DB when i do that. I thought perhaps that would kick the event

ALTER EVENT truncate_wanless_store_sessions
ON SCHEDULE
EVERY 1 DAY
STARTS '2022-04-13 03:53:00'
ENDS '2030-01-01 00:00:01'
