MySQL Failing

    it seems it is because of mysql crash
    mysqlcheck: Got error: 2002: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (2) when trying to connect

    Hello :)

    I've moved this post to it's own thread. Do you notice any error messages when restarting MySQL via the command line? EX:

    Code:
    service mysql restart
    Also, check /var/lib/mysql/$hostname.err for any specific error messages that occur during the MySQL restart attempt.
