I am getting this error every few days:

    [~]# tail -f /var/log/mysqld.log
    /usr/sbin/mysqld: ready for connections.
Version: '4.1.21-standard' socket: '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' port: 3306 MySQL Community Edition - Standard (GPL)
    070426 17:35:43 [Note] /usr/sbin/mysqld: Normal shutdown

    070426 17:35:43 InnoDB: Starting shutdown...
070426 17:35:46 InnoDB: Shutdown completed; log sequence number 0 6336596
    070426 17:35:46 [Note] /usr/sbin/mysqld: Shutdown complete

    070426 17:35:46 mysqld ended

    Here is something I noticed:

In the error log its showing Version: '4.1.21-standard' but I am running 5.0.27-standard-log. Why does the log show something different?

    Any help would be appreciated.
