    hello,

is it possible to modify cpanel to let user's mysql files in their own account? the reason being is that some users have large mysql files, and it would be more convenient to let them upload their data themselves.

    any comments welcomed. thanks.:)

    Hello,
I had that problem with some users. I did not figure out how to change cpanel settings to allow the creation of the mysql databases in /home/user directory, so I moved the whole database directory for those users into their home, created a symlink in the mysql directory and then chowned the database directory to the right user (mysql.mysql).

Hope this helps you fixing at least those user you have now with big dbs.

    Stefano
