I was trying to set up a new freeBSD as redhat is going through some personality issues ;) Anyways, i cannot revert mysql down to version 3 :(

I went to setup> tweak settings> and selected 3 for mysql, not 4. After that there is a link that says click here if you changed mysql, which I did. I create a symlink /var/lib/mysql for /var/db/mysql as one user suggested, but the freaking thing stays version4 no matter what I do.

I tried manual software updates as well from scripts directory, and the mysqlfixbsd scripts (quick also). I would recompile apache and such, man what a pain.

    Any ideas?
