    Hello,

We have CentOS 4.7 , WHM 11, Apache/2.2.9, Mysql 5.0.51 on the server.

Currently we are facing Mysql issue. Mysql server get restarted after every 9-10 minutes. I have even tried /scripts/fixmysql on server but that didn't help. I am checking Mysql status as follows:

    - Login to root SSH
    - Type mysql and you get login to Mysql prompt
    - Then type status to check the uptime

Here I see mysql uptime never goes above 8-9 minutes.

    Waiting for the reply.

    Hello,

It's not a Server issue, its more than likely an issue with a dodgy database crashing your MySQL daemon, and then cron is restarting it due to crashing. :D

I am having the same problem on one of our servers,

chkserve is restarting it every 9-1 minutes.

I had to kill this daemon to allow mysql to run.

I still do not know why it thinks that mysql is down!

    if anyone can help please.

    thanks
