    Hi Guys,

Anyone try MySQL Governor from CloudLinux on Shared Web Hosting yet? Seems to have some good benefits but would appreciate everyone's opinion before I just go ahead and install it.

CloudLinux tools always done good things for me on Shared Hosting Servers. So need more info on this last one :)

    Thanks

It works well, but I've had to uninstall from one server because one account keep getting limited by db_governor.

For example, the "write" limit default is 100000000

For this one account, I increased it 4x to 400000000 but the account still gets limited:

    write value 1574383352/limit 400000000

I have no idea how high I can go, exactly what's causing this or the best way forward. Because the account is not causing any other problems, I've just uninstalled db_governor from this server.

It would be even better if there was a way to display a message instead of a default "could not connect to database" error message when db_governor limits an account.

are you running latest version of governor? If you are not -- there was an issue with how it calculated averages for very short queries.

Hi Igor, yes that was with latest version. I think the problem is with this account, not with db_governor which works very well.
