MySQL Databases in CPanel resets privileges

    Hi,

I have a user that wants the WITH GRANT OPTION enabled on his databases. Although enabling this is fine and it all works as it should, as soon as the user clicks on their MySQL Databases icon in CPanel, the privileges are reset and the WITH GRANT OPTION is removed.

Is there any way I can stop CPanel resetting the privileges, or some other way in which I can make the change stick?

    Thanks.

    Maverick.

I have a user now that needs to be able to CREATE TEMPORARY TABLES. Again, there is no problem giving him these privilgeges, but they get reset as soon as he clicks on the MySQL Databases icon in CPanel.

Somebody must know how this issue can be circumvented? Please help.

    Mav.

same here, but about "FILE" right

have a user with need for the FILE right, to allow load data infile operations, no luck
it even broke phpmyadmin import operations on this one server, and is a most painful situation for this client
