Hello. I have just purchased a new server with FreeBSD 4.7 and cPanel 6.0. I'm familiar with FreeBSD but this is my first time using cPanel.

Now, as it stands, MySQL does not appear to be installed. My question is, do I need to install this through cPanel, and if yes, how do I go about this? If no, then can I use ports without worrying about any conflicts with cPanel?

    Thanks.

Suprised no one responded. CPanel should still see it if you install it from /usr/ports.
