    Hello,

What is the status of the MySQL and total disk usage? Is MySQL calculated as part of the overall accounts disk usage or not?

Do you have to create sym links for every db? Does /scripts/updatemysqlquota actually do as people think - i.e. add the MySQL db size to the overall users disk usage?

I understand that there are limitations in Linux quotas and cPanel - but would like to think that one of my users would not be able to create a 500Mb db when I've only given them access to 250Mb of disk space!

Now I'm not so sure -

    Please enlighten me someone

    trout.

The only reason I ask is that there are so many conflicting reports when you search for the answer.

Several people have stated to simply run /scripts/updatemysqlquota and this will mend the problem - others say this does not work and you have to work with sym links - though this is going to be a pain in the arse if it truely is the only solution!

    Please enlighten me...
