I am not sure if this is the correct thread section or not, but if it is not please forgive me.
After the latest "message" there was some miss understanding on the part of some of my staff and well lets say I have been recovering from it since. The message I am refering to was the NPTL and the staff upgraded without backing up the database. Well I was able to save the data and not have to revert to a backup of the clients sites. The problem is every site that had a password to access a certain area and this password was run through PHP and MySQL no longer works. It seems to accept the passwords but once in the areas any chances to the content management no longer works.
What are the changes from the previous versions of Mysql to MySQL 5.0?
Any suggestions as to how and fix this one?
