mysql problem urgent!!

Hello
I have one problem on linux server, when i add or delete any user from my site after that it give an error to site it say;s
Warning: mysql_num_rows(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/username/public_html/header1.php on line 5
this comes any file not any specific, common thing is it comes to mysql_num_rows, then i repair table through root by command "repair table table_name" and it gets repair but the problem again repeat after doing any changes in mysql.

Please help me if any one knows the permanant solution on it
