An upgrade to my forum software has corrupted my forum database. I have rolled back to last night's backup but the database has not been restored :|

Upon checking my backup configuration in WHM, I see I only enabled entire mysql directory to be backed up and did not check the check box marked: Per Account and Entire MySQL Directory

Does this mean I have not backed the database???

    Please advise.

If I can restore the database from the entire mysql directory backup, please advise on how to do so.

    Many Thanks

I sorted it. Unpacked the tar file, moved the relevant mysql directory into var/lib/mysql and bingo :D
