    Hi

in some of time ( for example , when i restart the mysql server from whm) I see this error message :

DBI connect('mysql:localhost','root',...) failed: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (2) at /scripts/restartsrv_mysql line 74 mysql has failed, please contact the sysadmin (result was "Warning, no valid mysql.sock file found.mysql has failed").

and in list of my top process, I see this job :

    /usr/sbin/mysqld --basedir/ --datadir/var/lib/mysql --usermysql --pid-file/var/lib/mysql/ns1.irancpanel.com.pid --skip-locking --socket/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock

    What's the problem ?

    Regard

Stop mysql, and try again to link src to dst files.

Second, I have same issue , restart of mysql at every 500 sec. A temporar solution is to move mysql from /etc/chkserv.d/ to someother place, and restart chkservd.

    Regards

I forgot to tell you. This is happening only on some FSBD systems with CPANEL/WHM. I will keep searching a solution for this problem.

    Regards.
