MySQL restarting automagically more than 100 times a day

    I am having this strange issue of mySQL restarting repeatedly.

    I get alert mails like following and this happens like every 10 mins.

    mysqld.log

    Root Administrator
    Check the mysql error log for more details.

    check /var/lib/mysql/<hostname>.err

    Sorry, Did not find it.

    Sorry Arun, I searched the folder you mentioned but there is only

    hostname.pid file available, but no .err file.

    Any other suggestions ?
