Mysql restore error !!! Please assist

    Hi,

    I was trying to restore the DB of a server after migration and these are the steps i followed :-

    But after i run the gunzip command after a few mins i get this error :-

    ERROR 1426 (42000) at line 50966: Too big precision 100 specified for column 'BussAchv'. Maximum is 65.

    Can any one please assist ?

    Do both machines have the same MySQL version being used? This error could be due to using different MySQL versions.

    It's likely that the BussAchv column in the database that contains that has a decimal with 100 listed when 65 is the largest allowable decimal.

    Yes Tristan ...you are correct,,

    The versions of mysql on both the servers are different, i have downgraded the new server and it looks ok now.
