Mysql root password don't work

    Hi

    Mysql root password don't work.
    After I reset password, I can't connet to mysql via shell
    How to fix it?

    Hello,

    Mysql root password is stored in /root/.my.cnf file. Please check the file and find out the root password.
    Then try to connect using the following command
    ---------------------------------------
    mysql -uroot -p
    ---------------------------------------
    Also you can reset the mysql password using the following command
    --------------------------------------------
    /scripts/mysqlpasswd root xxxxxxx
    --------------------------------------------
    May be it will help you to solve this issue ;)

    Don't work:
    /scripts/mysqlpasswd root pass
    also don't work when I skip grant permissions in my.cnf
