MySQL server is currently offline

Hi Cpanel Staff -

I'm having this issue with two of my sites. I've looked at other threads on topic, and tried a couple solutions, but nothing is working.

Very much a novice w/ server tasks.

Error:

"The MySQL server is currently offline."

"Error while connecting to MySQL: (XID z4rs77) The system failed to connect to the “MySQL” database “mysql” because of an error: CR_CONNECTION_ERROR (Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (2)) Error while connecting to MySQL: (XID z4rs77) The system failed to connect to the “MySQL” database “mysql” because of an error: CR_CONNECTION_ERROR (Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (2)) at /usr/local/cpanel/Cpanel/Mysql/Basic.pm line 391, <STDIN> line 1."

Please post the output from /usr/local/cpanel/logs/error_log when you notice this error message in the UI.

as mentioned in another thread.

Then where do I do this? WHM terminal? If so, I'm getting 'access denied'

Looks like problem solved... There wasn't enough memory on server. This was addressed by the Server company.
