I'm, having some problems with MySQL on my server. It has an optimized config and is running on the second HDD, works great, until today. For some reason, my phpBB forums are going extremely slow when viewing topics. I've restarted MySQL, recompiled apache, optimized the tables, and a few other things with no success. Anyone have any ideas?

    Go on, have a guess
    Since it's phpBB have you:

    1. Upgraded all installations to the latest version
    2. Installed mod_security with a good set of filters
    3. Installed a good sized query cached and checked whether it is working
    4. Got sufficient free+cache memory available

phpBB is secure, i've patched viewtopic.php, and mod_security has a great set of filters. It is something within my system. Because everything runs fast, until I query a large topic. And it hasnt been a problem until today.
