Select the relevant option in WHM > Tweak settings.

Just make sure you double backup all databases before upgrading - dump all data and copy the entire contents of /var/lib/mysql. Reverting from 4.1 to 4.0 is a messy process!

Once MySQL has been upgraded, recompile Apache/PHP to get MySQL support working in PHP scripts.

You should expect around 30 minutes downtime across various services (as MySQL is upgraded and then Apache/PHP is rebuilt), so perform the upgrade at a quiet time.

Hello

I can this, but after :

Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@ and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Can you help me ?

In Tweak Setting : Mysql : I click on 4.1 and save and after :

Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@ and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

I stop this problem, in tweak setting : Mysql : I re-click on 4 and save and now it's works fine but it's Mysql 4.0.27

What's the problem ?

Not really - this topic has been covered plenty of times already. Just search the forums.

Hint: WHM > Update Apache

Ensure you know what you're doing before you proceed. If in doubt, contact cPanel support.

Sorry, I don't offer those sort of services.

cPanel support should be able to do it for you free of charge, so long as you've purchased your cPanel licence direct from them.

Other than that, you'd have to find a professional to help you. I believe Andy Reed (servertune.com) offers such services at reasonable prices.

However it's really really straightforward. In WHM > Update Apache just select the options you need and away you go. If you're not sure what to select, choose 'Load previous config' and then start the build.
