Mysql Update Problem

    HI,

    I am encountering problem updating Mysql (via upcp--force) and (mysqlup--force). It is hanging up on this stage:

    root@localhost [/scripts]# ./mysqlup --force

    What do you think is the problem?

    Go on, have a guess
    Looks like a bad mirror. Try deleting /root/.cpmysqlrpm and then retry it.

    I deleted the file and run the update again and it hungs again.... here it are the messages:

    This is the MySQL 4.0.24 installer release number 0 for platform

    do you have your wget permissions set to 700?

    every time iv set this lower then that i get errors all the time lol

    chmod 700 /usr/bin/wget

    then try your update again..

    Changed it to 700 and still hung up.... I think it is already 755 before or 744...

    hmm..sorry i couldnt help ya more..

    only thingi can think if is maybe rerun /scripts/upcp --force

    and see if mysql updates it self then

    or update using yum (or what ever u use on box)

    yum update

    or

    yum upgrade

    are those RPMs in your WHM rpm list? you could try installing it from there
    then do the mysql update then
