mysql user efused

Hello, i am having problem with a user being refused connection by mysql via webpage scripts.

The user can access database, ie for mysqldump but when same details used for install/upgrade script for database app they get refused, even though same user is able to connect ot different database apps on same domain??


any ideas?

Could this be a cpanel bug where new database webscripts need certain permissions?

Maybe the database is corrupted in some way.. try repairing it in WHM or backup-&delete table-&create table-&restore data on that database..

What is the exact mysql error you get when connecting to the database thru a webscript?

(mysql_error() in php for example..)
