    Hi all,

    Does anyone have any ideas? I'm trying to connect to a remote machine (let's call it billy and it's not working. This is what I did...

    - Setup the access hosts on both machines for local and remote IP's (just in case).

    - Setup my connection object as follows on the localhost (let's call it marvin:

    $dbhost = '';
    $dbusername = 'blah';
    $dbuserpassword = 'feline';
    $default_dbname = 'blah_bulletin';

    Now, when I try to access this database on billy from marvin, I get:

    1044: Access denied for user: 'blah@marvin' to database 'blah_bulletin'

    If I change the password or username to a "false" password, I get:

    0: Connection failed to the host billy.

    When I change back to ANY correct username/password combo, I get 1044's...

    Now, what's going on here? Why is it Access Denying me if all is good in my connection object. I know it works because I use it every day. It's become part of my object library.

    Any help would be much appreciated as this is becoming quite irritating.
