I have several systems for my customers currently in production with a Master-Slave based Cpanel.
In one case, is a replica remote geographically distant and in another is a replica at the same data center.
In either case it would be very desirable to use SSL for communicating MySQL master-slave, but the version that uses MySQL 5.0.x Cpanel, is not compiled with SSL support.
Does anyone know or have positive experience with the compilation of MySQL source used by Cpanel? Where to locate the sources used by MySQL Cpanel?
Is there anticipating activate SSL in MySQL Cpanel?
The use of SSL is required in the legislation of many European countries, although it is one of the security issues more unfulfilled.
