Threads: 1 Questions: 2784 Slow queries: 0 Opens: 67 Flush tables: 1 Open tables: 61 Queries per second avg: 3.066

how can i find out whats going out of control and how do i stop mysql from killing the server in the future?

from that output i don\'t think mysql can cause such a load with only 3+ queries/second

something was def. killing the server, it was worse before that. He changed the mysql config file (i think thats what its called) from 2000 processes to 50 and the server has been fine since
