    I am having some problem on my server since mysql will cause server over-loaded.

    Then I found mytop from:
    http://forums.cpanel.net/showthread.php?t=41138

    and get it at:
    http://jeremy.zawodny.com/mysql/mytop/

    But after installation, while I try to run mytop,
    I get:

    Can anyone help?

    use vi or pico to create a file called /root/.mytop and add:

    Code:
    user=root
    pass=
    host=localhost
    db=mysql
    delay=5
    port=3306
    socket=
    batchmode=0
    header=1
    color=1
    idle=1
    then run mytop as root again and it should work.
