Dear all,

I logged into WHM root account & clicked on "Manage Nameserver IPs"

but i could not see any assigned name servers ips except one which is my resellers name server.

However all the name servers are pinging fine but they are not showing in my control panel. (I had 4 name servers)

I wonder what the problem is!!!

I have to shift one big client to this server today, but i am little scared to do so coz of this name servers not showing :(

can anyone put some light on this??? I am little worried.

Is this because of the cpanel update or something??? or maybe some problem!

Thanks in advance.

what does your /etc/nameserverips contain? You may need to manually edit it.

You are probably already looking for a Server Admin replacement, but you might want to have someone do a quick check for you.

DarkOrb Support has an autoresponder which I think you are referring to when you say, 'their response was super fast', although I could be wrong.

Your 'nameserverips' file was probably left write able and it's possible entrys got changed -- without your knowledge or approval. Although sites are still working, if something has changed "for the worse" those sites could be unreachable after 24-36 hrs.

As well, if you have not done so already, change your root password and verify that no other users have root/su access!

Thanks for all the help, the problem is resolved by the cpanel guys.

I think i took the right decision by taking cpanel as a control panel :)
