Namebased to IP based

How would I go to change a namebased site to an IP-based site WITHOUT deleting the site and readd it?

K, maybe this is dumb. But how exactly do you make it so that the Ip isn't shared? Like, I can change the site to an Ip that isn't used by anyone, but i think im missing something???

Just pick an IP that you aren't using ..but one you have assigned and set up on the server. "Change site's IP address" in WHM will guide you through it. It's easy. :)
