NameD dies when backup's are conducted

I've a problem with the backup option in the cpanel. Named seems to die whenever anyone runs a backup of their account on the server. I notice the same problem when trying to transfer accounts to other servers. Named does not specifically die, but it does report the following.

error sending response: host unreachable

in /var/log/messages for anyone trying to hit sites. This is resolved once I restart named, but its a problem. Is this anthing that anyone else has seen ? Is their a solution for it.

I have the same problem. Whenever the load get's high named dies and the error message you mentioned can be found in my logs, too...
