    Having the same issue...

    When I attempt to install the perl module:

    Fetching with Net::FTP:
    ftp://ftp.perl.org/pub/CPAN/authors/id/A/AR/ARYEH/CHECKSUMS
    CPAN: Module::Signature loaded ok
    gpg: failed to create temporary file `/root/.gnupg/.#lk0x8367198.fdc1.datacities.com.20554': No such file or directory
    gpg: keyblock resource `/root/.gnupg/pubring.gpg': general error
    gpg: Signature made Fri Nov 11 03:02:02 2005 EST using DSA key ID 450F89EC
    gpg: no writable keyring found: eof
    gpg: error reading `[stream]': general error
    gpg: Can't check signature: public key not found

    Signature invalid for distribution file. Please investigate.

    Distribution id = A/AR/ARYEH/Net-AIM-1.22.tar.gz
    CPAN_USERID ARYEH (Aryeh Goldsmith <perlaim@aryeh.net>)
    CALLED_FOR Net::AIM
    CHECKSUM_STATUS
    CONTAINSMODS Net::AIM Net::AIM::Connection Net::AIM::Event
    UPLOAD_DATE 2002-04-24
    incommandcolor 1
    localfile /home/.cpan/sources/authors/id/A/AR/ARYEH/Net-AIM-1.22.tar.gz

    I'd recommend removing /home/.cpan/sources/authors/id/A/AR/ARYEH/CHECKSUMS.
    Its signature
    is invalid. Maybe you have configured your 'urllist' with
    a bad URL. Please check this array with 'o conf urllist', and
    retry.

    invoked from within

    Anyone have any ideas?
