Named failed ? what causes this

    Hi is there anyone here that can tell me what this means and why it fails.
    What are the most common reasons for named to fail,,

    One of the possbile reason is if your server is overloaded.

    It's quite unusual for named to fail while running. More commonly it fails to start if there's a problem with the syntax in named.conf or one of the zone files. Check /var/log/messages for named log lines should normally reveal more information at the time it stopped.
