    Hi,

I have installed over 200-300 cpanel servers, and named never starts on reboot after the install .... is this meant to be like this ... ??????

WHM claims bind is running fine, and when i click on &DNS/Name Server (BIND)& it says

    &bind status named is running, PIDs: 2828 2827 2826 2824 2823.&

However now when i check the system processes i see named running....

I know how to enable it so it starts at boot by adding it to &/etc/rc.d/rc.local& but i want to make sure if that is the correct way of doing it .....

Thanks for reading and comments welcomed...

    Shazad..........

when we enable bind on a server i allways turn it on in the ntsysv or by adding it to /etc/rc.local

it should work just as good.
