    Hi all!

I just purchased my new server through a great company (won't spam with company name).

It's all setup and ready to go for me but I am confused about something.

First off all, my domain is currently being hosted with another company. I can make nameserver changes with my registrar.. that's no problem but what do I change my nameserver too exactly?

my domain is: www.martekbiz.com and that is currently hosted, obviously.

My nameservers on my new server are: ns1.martekbiz.com/ns2.martekbiz.com

Won't my site get dropped when I change my nameserver with the registrar to a domain that's not actually active.. because when I make the switch... martekbiz.com WON'T be active technically.

I;m very confused about this. Anyone care to lend some help?

    Thanks!

    Aaron
