    Hi,

We are changing all our services to run one dns. We have many servers running many dns services. We are changing to four dns servers running cpanel dns only. We need to change the named records on each server to reflect the new domain.

We've done the following to date:

    replace 'ns1.olddns.com' 'ns1.newdns.com' -- /var/named/*

This seems to have worked great, but we need to add the two other dns (we are going from 2 dns setup to 4 dns servers)

So we need to add the following to each zone:

    usersdomain.com. IN NS ns3.newdns.com.
    usersdomain.com. IN NS ns4.newdns.com.

Anyone have any ideas on how to add this to all zones on the machine?

    Go on, have a guess
You're probably going to need to script it. BTW, don't forget to increase the serial number whenever you modify a zone file in /var/named/
