Both our Assigned Namesevers IPs have a red X behind them -

Is this normal? and If not any ideas on what I need to do to correct?

This is not a problem. That X is just there in case you want to "delete" those nameservers.

I had some trouble trying to edit the nameserver IPs. Specifically, I wanted a certain IP to be assigned, but WHM insists on giving the new nameserver the next IP (you can't choose which IP)

I found that you can edit the nameserver IPs in this text file, which allows you greater flexibility:

    /etc/nameserverips

    Just an FYI...
