    Hi,

    I have a new server with CPanel (my first to try!). All my other servers are running without Cpanel.

    I have running two nameserver on different machines. One on a regulare Redhat server (master) and one on the new CPanel.

    Now I found out that I cannot update the CPanel-nameserver from my master.
    It looks like clustering is not possible between a regulare server and a Cpanel server.

    Has anybody an idea how I can get it working?

    best regards
    Christian

    additional nameserver problem

    I have an additional problem on cpanel nameserver:

    I like to set forbid recursion like on my other nameservers and I set in /etc/named.conf:

    allow-recursion {arec;};

    arec has only my own ips included.

    But after restarting the NS the result from dnsreport.com is furthermore:

    Server (IP of Cpanel-Server) reports that it will do recursive lookups.

    On my other nameservers is no problem with this entry.

    Has anybody experience with nameservers on CPanel?

    Christian
