I have a new server and now one of the first steps in setting up the CPanel is to enter the nameserver. I have to enter the master nameserver, the primary, the secondary and the tertiary nameserver. On my old server i simply added the ns of the serverhost and everything works fine. On this new, i have to make my own nameserver. I asked the support and that is the answer:

"You would need to create your own nameservers on that server. It basically sets it all up for you, you just need to enable them and assign them ips. You will also need to come up with a name for them like"

I dont understand what i have to do. Can anyone helb me please?

This should get you started -

One update to this tutorial is that in /etc/resolv.conf instead of using you should use the main IP of your server.
